Gemini Telscope Design is offering an RoHS compliant European made stepper motor driver for motorised focussers and rotators.
- Drives two bipolar steppers up to 1A
- Microstep mode - means more torque with less gears (and less backlash)
- Current control - will not overheat your stepper motor
- Ascom compatible
- USB connection - no need to fiddle with USB-Serial adapters
- Temperature compensated (temp sond is standard accessory)
- Variable speed for comfortable manual use
- Optional handpad
- Matching Stepper motor with planetary gear is available for fitting directly to the focusser handknob with no further reduction gears.
- Has a dedicated control sw that is open source (or use Robofocus)
- The motors can be powered from the USB port (small motors) or a 12VDC power supply can be used
- Upgradable microcontroller (firmware)

You will need an A-B type USB cable (5m) and a 12VDC 1-2A power supply with a DC type plug (5/2mm). You will have to download the Pulsar2 USB driver (WinXP and 7) from our downloads page in order to connect to a PC.
