Gemini is offering a European made stepper motor driver for motorised focussers that has the following main features.

Autodetect motor type (uni or bipolar)

Microstep mode – means more torque with less gears (and less backlash)

Current control – will not overheat you stepper motor

Ascom compatible

USB connection – no need to fiddle with USB-Serial adapters

Temperature compensated

Variable speed for comfortable manual use

Optional handpad

Matching Stepper motor with planetary gear is available for fitting directly to the focusser handknob with no further reduction gears.
