From November 2005 all G-41 models are fitted with a new worm support. The former axial adjustment screws are completely absent and the stability of the mount is significantly higher.

To improve reliability and comfort models ordered with Pulsar have the PEC and motor cables inside a single cable. The Jack plug for the PEC is not used any longer.

The Obs+ model has a special monobloc worm support in RA that ensures a smoother PE. The details are explained here.

The DEC worm support of both models is equipped with a worm offset screw. For guided imaging turn the screw in until a small backlash is felt. Unbalance the telescope a little. Now you have an instant response of corrections in DEC without any lost motion or „backlash”.
